Food is so much more than fuel. Food is connection. It is meant to connect us to the land from which it comes, to the people with whom we share it, the atmosphere in which it is shared, the memories it produces, and mostly with Him who blesses us with it all.

So, I have many things floating around in my mind. Many things I need to sort through. Sweet food is my way to de-stress. So I wonder; is that wrong to use food in this way? I don’t think it is. I believe that God created food to be much more than fuel…

Reclaiming the temple is really reclaiming my life; my thoughts, emotions and talents. This is where rededicating it all to the Lord comes in. He wants all of it. Not because He needs it or is some great fun stealer. I truly believe that He loves food too…

Why do we view God in the way that we do? I have been thinking a lot about the way that I think about God and His character-I have also been thinking a lot about how I think life ought to be and my role in it. How much of these things are truth and how much has been implanted by our culture?
