By Jason Fowler on 04/05/2012
I recently had the privilege of meeting Paul Sparks of the Parish Collective when he was visiting the East Coast….I looked up and saw Jeremiah 29:7, inscribed on the building, which says: “Seek the peace of the city where I have sent you, for in it’s welfare, you will find your welfare”…

Embodying Our Faith: Creating A Culture of Sharing
By Brian Boitmann on 02/04/2012
In a culture where a person’s success is determined more often by the the things that we have, and the amount of each of them that we have, establishing a culture of sharing turns that entire notion on its head…

A Tea Party, An Occupation and People of the Incarnation
By Jason Fowler on 12/07/2011
Maybe the answer is not a tea party or an occupation or any protest movement after all. I believe we must give ourselves, as disciples of Jesus, to another movement – to His living Body – a people who are again re-incarnating a kingdom not of this world…

Empire vs. Love
By Bill Guerrant on 08/27/2010
In the 4th Century A.D. the Roman emperor Julian was concerned about the spread of Christianity in his empire…He wrote: “Nothing has contributed to the progress of the superstition of these Christians as their charity to strangers. The impious Galileans provide not only for their own poor, but for ours as well.”

Justice at Christ’s Table
By Ricci Kilmer on 07/02/2010
I was missing communion, I was missing the body of Christ. And not just the spiritualized view of the Lord’s Table but the actual down to earth translation of what that meant. What does it mean to BE Christ’s body for people? What does it mean to say that his body is offered freely?…

Jonathan Wilson-Hartgrove: Christian Community
By Jason Fowler on 05/17/2010
I appreciate Jonathan’s down to earth perspective here on intentional Christian community and how we must practically embody our theology in the everyday nuts and bolts of life and relationships.
