Where is GOD when you feel like He isn’t there? What do you do when the One whose presence permeates creation seems as if He is far away? How do you handle communicating with the Invisible and Infinite Creator when it feels like you are talking to the ceiling?

Even in trials we must trust Him
Jesus taught us to call GOD ‘poppa’- a blasphemous intimacy for the religious people of his day- but when Poppa seems to have withdrawn how do you maintain your trust in Him? In the face of injustice and pain and trials can we trust that He is infinitely wise and that He deeply cares for us as His children? Do we interpret His character through our circumstances or do we interpret our circumstances through His character? Faith is trust. What do you do when your trust in Him seems broken?
The band Monsters of Folk say it well with their song ‘Dear GOD’.
