is a native North Carolinian and permanent resident of Brazil. Sam is also Rosalee's husband and the father of James (9), Isabella (7), and Katharine (4). Sam is a PhD candidate through the University of Birmingham (England), splitting most of his time between researching and becoming a greenhorn.
