Making Life Simple: A New Home Economy is Emerging

By Christine Sine on 01/09/2011

There is a whole new movement sweeping the Western world in which people everywhere are cutting back on their involvement in the cash economy, bartering, swapping, growing and cooking their own and generally learning to live with less…

Creating a Faith Based Community Garden

By Christine Sine on 04/22/2010

The contagion is spreading. America has garden fever and even faith communities are getting involved. Community gardens are springing up in church parking lots all over the country. Gardening With GOD (original image: Christine Sine. montage: J Fowler)

Gardening With GOD

By Christine Sine on 04/02/2010

Perhaps one reason God created human beings to tend the garden is because God knew that it is in its midst that we connect most intimately to the character and ways of our Creator. Did Jesus Lead A Balanced Life?

By Christine Sine on 02/06/2010

I spent a lot of time reading through the gospels specifically asking myself the question How did Jesus spend his time on earth? It was an enlightening study as I started to realize that Jesus really did have a very balanced life…
