From the Fowler family (Jason, Pam, Zee, Ephraim, Zoe, Havah, Asher, and Elias) to all our readers, contributors, fellow bloggers, theologians, farmers, authors, everyday people, partners and friends near and far- we want to thank you all for your support, comments, friendships, feedback, encouragement, prayers and guidance in 2010. This past year we made a difference online- we got our heads outside of the box a little- now it’s time to get our feet outside the box (as our friend Claudio says). We look forward to meeting more of you and making many more connections in 2011 and, Lord willing, we anticipate taking this project beyond the blogazine and into the real world. We also want to say a big thanks to Bill and Cherie Guerrant and Jeremy and Rachel Timm- who’s friendships with us and each other are a first fruits of sorts. We want to say thank you to Jessica and Dean Hoisington for being our first blogazine sponsors- to Chris Smith of the Englewood Review of Books for being our first online partner- to Ragan Sutterfield for his continuous contributions to our website this past year- to Claudio Oliver and Sam Ewell for the friendships via Skyping and emailing- to Christine and Tom Sine for taking time to reach out to me- and especially Tom for the phone calls- to brother ‘Shofar’ across the sea, to Magdalena in Canada, and to the other original folks we connected with in the now defunct ST online forum- to all the other people we connected with online, by phone, email and elsewhere- to our home church friends and especially to Joe and Teresa D – to you all we pray that GOD our Poppa in His infinite grace, wisdom and love would open many doors through which you can experience the realities of His kingdom this coming year- and that Jesus- the One who is The Eternal Door would become more and more near as you pursue and depend on Him.
To the humble a door opens We stoop to enter in we leave our selves at the threshold we clothe ourselves in Him In weakness He overturns the strong in foolishness He shames the wise Be born anew in the barnyard of our lives. -JF]]>
I am so blessed to have just found your website. I feel that our family is on a similar journey towards an authentic, radical lifestyle-one where we live fully alive so that our God is lifted high and draws all men unto him. Merry Christmas to your precious family. Your poem blessed me so.
Thanks my friend. 2010 will always be considered a special year because all that you got from God through ST. The impact, encouragement and friendship you have facilitaded and the connections we started because of ST this year made the walk much lighter and meaningful.
